Tanis works professionally in marketing and has a background in writing.  He has spent much of his adult life building community in Carlisle, and he devotes most of his spare time to running two non-profits, Amani Carlisle and Serve the City Carlisle.  He brings his extensive non-profit experience to us as our vice president.

Although he didn't move to Carlisle until elementary school, Tanis seems to know everyone in town, and whenever we are in need of a connection, he seems to have one for us.  In fact, his offer of help in making a business connection to Stephanie resulted in a meeting that laid the early groundwork for our organization.  He loves pop culture and lives in Carlisle with his cat.
