Destination Carlisle's Farm-to-Table for Charity

Join us for a four-course meal outside in downtown Carlisle!

On Friday, October 18, 2019, come join Destination Carlisle for our first-ever Farm-to-Table for Charity fundraising event that will kick off our Halloweekend event. Chef Duane Miller, Executive Chef at Cafe Bruges, and Maria Ntzanis, owner/chef of Grazery, will be preparing a seasonally appropriate, four-course dinner, using fresh ingredients provided by local farms, that will delight any foodie. Our dinner will be hosted outside under the stars in Cumberland County Historical Society's Pocket Park complete with string lights and candles and will be served by downtown small business owners. After our dinner concludes, TimeWalker Tours will be taking our guests who choose the ghost tour tickets will be taken on a ghost tour of downtown Carlisle.


This unique experience will benefit The Salvation Army of Carlisle's Stuart House Project and Destination Carlisle's ongoing work to improve the downtown business district.   In the event of inclement weather, our dinner will be moved inside to Todd Hall at the historical society.  Tickets include four courses, wine, beer, hard cider, and an optional ghost tour. Cancellations or changes must be made prior to October 8, 2019, to be eligible for a refund, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis.


Socializing  will  begin at  6:00 PM  and dinner service will start  promptly  at  6:30  PM.

Tickets to our Farm-to-Table event cost $100.00 for the meal plus ghost tour.  Tickets for the meal only cost $85.00.  To purchase tickets, please use the link below to be directed to Paypal.  If you would like to purchase tickets offline, please email destinationcarlisle@gmail.com.  We only have seating for 50, so space is limited.

Our Farm Providers

Pecan Meadow Farm

Pecan Meadow is a 200-acre, family-run farm in Newburg, PA, specializing in 100% grass-fed cattle, sheep, and goats.  They will be providing the beef tenderloin for our main entree.

Dickinson College Farm

Dickinson College Farm is a USDA-certified organic farm is run by students, graduates, and volunteers who are involved in all aspects of food production.  They will be providing produce to our courses.

Earth Spring Farm

This family-run farm in Carlisle, PA, specializes in non-GMO produce, pastured eggs, and healthy soil.  They grow their vegetables naturally and will be providing produce to our courses.

Keswick Creamery

Keswick Creamery of Newburg, PA, focuses on creating handcrafted artisanal  cheeses and dairy products on a grass-fed farm.  They are providing cheese and dairy products to our courses.

Whistleberry Farm

Whistleberry Farm of Boiling Springs, PA, grows a variety of mushrooms and produce and raises honeybees.  They will be providing produce to our courses.

Honey Bee Friendly

Honey Bee Friendly of Dillsburg, PA, specializes in artisanal bee products and sustainable beekeeping.  They will be providing honey to our courses.

Talking Breads

Located in Perry County, this farm-based bakery and flour mill specializes in handcrafted European bread and organically-grown flour, pork, eggs, and chicken.  They will be providing bread to our meal.

The Center Cut Company

The Center Cut Company of Carlisle, PA, is committed to humanely raising their livestock, which is pasture fed.  They will be providing eggs to our dinner.
